It was a privilege to shoot for Francis and Patricia. The wedding, held at the lovely Montsalvat in Melbourne, Australia, was a lovely affair, attended to by about 80 guests. While the temperature was a little crisp, the happiness and joy could be felt by all as they celebrated the union of the lovely couple.

Small weddings are very personal, very intimate affairs. Frankie and Pei Yee’s wedding was a small affair, and I love just how intimate they usually get. I certainly enjoyed capturing the essence of the event; here are some of my favourite shots from the day.

Indian weddings are, without a doubt, one of the most colourful affairs. Ever.

I’ve had the opportunity and pleasure to shoot Thiagesh and Sindhu’s wedding. Having shot their engagement a year earlier, I was stoked at having the chance to shoot the grand affair.

And what a splendidly grand affair it was.

Relatives far and wide gathered at Sri Thendayuthapani Temple along Tank Road to celebrate their union; colours ruled the day, as bright splashes of yellows, reds, greens and pinks came together.

I recently came across Wedding Tweets, a website that acts as a one-stop location for couples who are starting to plan their wedding.

There are certainly many ideas that a couple can use to plan their wedding – a directory of service providers, a planning tool/guide (templates included – how cool is that?!), commonly asked questions and even ideas for those interesting gate-crashing games!

Jix and Lin were recently married at the beautiful St. Andrew’s Cathedral, followed by a buffet at Krish for friends, and another dinner one week later for their relatives at the Grand Shanghai. The support that I’ve seen from their friends and family was nothing short of amazing.

From the very start, Jix and Lin had the idea of a themed wedding, and they had not one themed gathering, but two! The amount of detail that went into the preparations was simply amazing, and I was certainly exhilarated to discover just that on the wedding day.

We managed to steal some time away from the luncheon on their actual day to grab a few quick shots at St. Andrew’s Cathedral (candy theme), and again at Grand Shanghai (Shanghai theme) too after the dinner a week later. Hope you’ll enjoy the shots; I certainly had lots of fun when I was capturing the moment

Sorry from the absence from the blog..been a little busy with work that I keep forgetting to provide these little updates. I just got back from Italy (a belated honeymoon with my lovely wife, S).

I shot Leonard and Peishan’s wedding back in November 2010, and what a splendid wedding it was. Leonard exuded love for Peishan, and it was clearly evident in the little gestures that he makes – every touch, every kiss, every song. Yup, Leonard is one talented singer, and also sang during the church ceremony and the wedding dinner.

I must admit – I’m not exactly a fastidious, nor regular, blogger. I blog with purpose, so if nothing strikes me as being out of the ordinary or needing my immediate attention, I tend to remain offline.  Lately I’ve been trying to school myself in photography by looking at works from the great photographers and image makers that have since graced the various award ceremonies around the world. I still have much to learn, and I sincerely hope that everyone who reads this will join me on this life-long journey.

I recent had the opportunity to shoot Niraj and Sharon’s wedding – the ceremony was held at the Church of the Holy Spirit (the same church that Maurice and Esther got married at), with the dinner held at the splendid Burkhill Hall (more info here), located within the Orchid Gardens at the Singapore Botanic Gardens. No doubt the weather was humid, but guests certainly enjoyed themselves thoroughly.
