I had the honour of shooting Wayne and Yvonne’s ROM ceremony some time back. This great couple was all smiles throughout the day, and it was such a pleasure to capture the ceremony for them. We also took some time to roam the streets around Amara Hotel for their engagement shoot after the luncheon.

This always happens no matter how many times I say it – the world is a small one.

I recently shot Reyes’ and Jasmine’s ROM. Wonderful couple, in love, and making the big step forward in becoming husband and wife.

I later found out they were from CJC, 2 years my junior. What are the odds?!

The idea of everyone of us being separated by six degrees is simply amazing. That would mean that I’m related to you (yes, you) by six degrees. How awesome is that?

Damien first got in touch with me a month before his wedding. He and his wife, View, are such a lovely couple; I could feel the love that oozed from Damien whenever they interacted.

Velle is my wife S’ good friend, having been friends since their secondary school days. Both S and I first met Eric a couple of years back, and thought of him as am excellent, stand-up guy, a perfect match for Velle.

They recently got married, and I tagged along as the second photographer, shooting whenever I can get a sneak shot in, trying my best not to incur the wrath of the main photog (just kidding ).

This was certainly a case of the world being extremely small

I first met Claudine while on an underwater photography writing assignment (yes, that was what it was, and no, the sentence does not contradict itself). I went along with The Submersibles to Perhentian for a short diving trip. Both Claudine and I were taking our Open Water Diver course then.

Just a year or so after we left Perhentian behind us, I get a call from a Claudine inquiring about my photography services. Not knowing that it was the same Claudine, we arranged for a meet-up, and the rest is history

On another related note, one of Chong Bing’s ‘xiong di’ also happens to be a fellow colleague from NS. Just how small can the world get?!

Starting a home isn’t exactly the simplest thing to do. For those of you in the know, you’ll probably know that I recently got married to my beautiful wife, S, in July. Since then, things have been pretty much topsy-turvey, with us running all over the place to find the right contractor or interior designer, choosing tiles, searching for bathroom accessories, picking out kitchen hobs and hoods, etc etc.

For those of us married ones, you’ll know what I’m talking about.

For those of you who are thinking of tying the knot soon, it’s better to start early than to wait for things to start gathering momentum.

Anyways, I was also fortunate to witness the union of two lovely souls, Jason and Trang, on 5 September. Held at The Regent Hotel, the simple ceremony was witnessed by their close friends, followed after by dinner.

Hanwei and Maddy first met in Temasek Polytechnic, Diploma of Communications and Media Management (CMM).  They shared similar interests – he was a comic junkie (yup, lotssssssssss of comics), and she enjoyed reading them.

When they got together, no one could say they were surprised. At least S (my wife-to-be) and I didn’t.

They were officially married on 31 December 2008, at Botanic Garden’s Halia Restaurant. The ceremony was simple, the lunch delicious, the macaroons immaculate (yes, I have a sweet tooth ).
