Yup, have been back for about 2 weeks or so now. Things have been pretty hectic at work since I got back, but they’ve pretty much settled down for now.

My recent trip to Japan proved to be just the pick-me-up that I needed to get things going. It’s always nice to revisit a city you so love, and going back to favourite haunts, not to mention exploring new places as well.

I finally managed to catch a glimpse of the fish auction at Tsukiji Fish Market, after having missed it on my first two trips to Tokyo. That said, hauling oneself out of bed at 4am in the morning to catch the first train out from Ikebukuro is certainly not everyone’s cup of tea, but the experience was still worth the effort (and the late night before, too).

That said, here are some of my favourite shots taken during this trip

Cheers, and in case I don’t check back in again this week, have a great week ahead!

It is easily considered to be the city the world; walk through the long avenues and the cozy sidewalks and you can just meet people of varying nationalities in just one minute.

My first trip (and only trip so far) to NYC was during my first job, where we had to meet with one of the international clients. Though it was supposed to be a business trip, my colleagues and I decided to extend our stay there since it already costs so much just to fly there. This was also the first time where I really used my camera to its fullest; some of my favourite shots were from here too.

That said, enjoy the photos!

P.S. – I’m looking forward to going back to NYC again, preferably after Christmas when they have their annual post-Christmas sale. Yes, S, I’ll want to go with you this time round.

P.S.S. – Viv, can I stay over at your place again if I do go over?

There are many exotic destinations just a stone’s throw away from Singapore. Cambodia’s just one of the many places that’s rich in history and culture.

For one, there’s the Ankor Wat. Built in the 12th century, the structures are seemingly on the verge of collapsing, disintegrating even. Piece by piece, the stone, the bricks, the mortar are all coming apart. It won’t be long before the entire complex will be deemed unstable. So that said, catch a glimpse of what an ancient civilization like the Ankor were before they close it off for good.

I was lucky enough to have visited Cambodia with Julian W. (courtesy of Sony), who brought a class of avid photographers up to Phnom Penh for a photo safari. Besides the ancient architecture, beautiful sunrises and extremely hot (almost sans humidity) weather, the people were simply warm, friendly, and weren’t exactly camera shy either.

These are just some of the photos that I’ve taken during my 4 days stay there. Take a trip up to Cambodia when you can; I’m sure you won’t regret it.
